Indeed an interesting show. With a Ryanair flight directly from Weeze to Marrakesh for less then 90 Euro (return, including taxes !!)

It looks like every single aircraft has been cleaned before it was parked on static ... some of them look almost mock-up-like, zo clean they are

They are all real, allright...

My thoughts exactly ! I guess the Moroccans just wanted to make a good impression, which does make sense when you don't expose yourself as often as they do. Nothing wrong with that....

Guess so... but on the other hand, the Chinook for instance was leaking fuel like mad! So not making a to good impression on me...

But I'm very curious if you managed to capture any flying activities ?

Flying display was minor, CAP's of the Green March opened the show with some fly-by's, severall formation passes with four Alpha Jets where performed, an AV F-16C did a flying display, a CN.235 took of for para-droppings and a C-130 did a waterbombing run...
Warbirds displays with a CM.175, OV-10... mostly you had back-light when facing the display area/runway. But perhaps Alex (or some one else?) can post some extra shots? As I only got my small basic digital camera with me.

Also there is hardly any people on the pics, were these taken early or on a non-public day, or is there just a lack of interest.

Most where taken on the first day (trade day), some others where taken during the last day (open to public). Actualy both days where quite busy, not comparable with Le Bourget or RIAT but alot of people have been visiting during the day... Perhaps I took a my best changes during the morning when these shots have been taken.

What´s that toy plane between the Mirage F1 and the Puma???

The quality of the picture it self and also of the subject(s) is very good in my opinion, but I'm not always satisfied with static-display shots. Making shots with good compostition and with out bothering obstacles is not that easy! Could have done a little better job perhaps, but that is self-criticism perhaps...

C-12C 83-0494 (MAAG ??)

This Beech is believed to be operated by the USE flight in Abidjan in Ivory Coast. According to it's l/n it was long time not seen...
Was happy to catch this bird I must say!

Yes, but keep in mind that most of this was NOT on public view. All hangers were off limits for public (and press), just the static could be photographed, and the main platform could be seen from a distance.
But I still don't regret going there....
