Woensdrecht 07/07/2021 Tanzania F50
Earlier this afternoon, 5H-TGF arrived at Woensdrecht from Malta where it made a nightstop. Another nice aircraft for Fokker Technics!

Your photo title says "Government of Tanzania", which was the case two years ago.
Now it belongs to Air Tanzania, so 100% civil.

It's still owned by the government of Tanzania, but was leased by Air Tanzania two years ago due to payment issues.r.e.hendriks wrote: ↑07 Jul 2021, 18:43 Your photo title says "Government of Tanzania", which was the case two years ago.

Edit: forgot to mention that the aircraft is already handed back to the government.

OK... for me it doesn't work that way....
When the Austrian Air Force leased Swiss F-5s (wearing Austrian mks.) I noted them as Austrian AF, not as Swiss AF.
But I don't blame you, I can imagine it is a rare bird for the civvie guys.

Aircraft was and still is owned by TGF / Tanzanian Government Flight. Some people mark it as CIV and some as MIL..
Anyway, a very nice hybrid without the "Air" titles and giraffe on the tail

Why is that annoying? Can be very entertaining, especially when driving long distances during spotter tripsalways this annoying discussion CIV vs MIL

For me it is civil by the way, now and in the past when serving the government. But that is only relevant for myself I guess

Either way it is a rare and exotic bird, very nice no doubt for the civil (and government) spotters.
