I noticed on YouTube as well that these Super Hornets seem to be venting fuel from a ventline on top of both fins. I checked with previous videos of the legacy hornet but these seem not to do this. Can anyone comment on this? I wonder if this is really fuel and how much they are they draining this way.

Yes, it is fuel venting. The vents have always been on the vertical stabs for Hornets (all flavors, as far as I know).
The fuel venting was the first and most memorable difference I noticed between the Legacy and Super Blues. The solos vent the most by far, but even Boss was venting during the Double Farvel (4th photo above).
