On our way to our vacation address in France, we stopped overnight at Chateauroux. Time to see what I could photograph. The field was quite full with parked aircraft. Almost the complete British Airways A380-fleet are on the premises, although they do fly back and from Heathrow for maintenance. As I am not into registrations, I didn't created a log, but for those interested this is some of the stuff present:
* 1 Lion Air A330-900
* 1 Serene Air A330-200
* 1 Joon A340-300
* 1 Air Caraibes A330-200
* 1 Air Madagascar A340-300
* 1 Freebird A320
* 1 Onur Air A321
* 1 Windrose A321
* 1 All white A330-200
* 1 SKY Airlines A320neo
* 1 Cebu Pacific A320neo
* 1 Capital Airlines A320neo
* 1 Pegasus Airlines A320neo
* 1 AirAsia A320neo
* 1 S7 Airlines A320neo
* 1 Lucky Air A330-900
* 1 Air Travel A320neo
* 1 RwandAir A330-900
* 1 Aeroflot A350-900
* 1 Asiana A350-900
* 1 HiFly A330-300
* 2 Garuda Indonesia A330-900
* 2 Azul A330-900
* Quite some Hong Kong/Hainan Airlines A330s and A350s
* 9-10 BA A380s (depending on the moment)
Also present, but not for storage was a Kuwait Air Force C-130. Please note that all the new Airbuses are wearing their factory (French) registration.
Photography is not the easiest at the airport due to all these planes crammed on the aprons. All the A320neos are parked on the opposite side of the runway, which makes it even impossible to capture these in a decent fashion.
Anyhow, enough with the talk, on with the photos!
1. Serene Air is an airline from Pakistan and it should, one day, get this A330-200, which is currently registered as F-WTAX:

2. Example of one of the A320neos parked on the other side is this SKY Airline one.

3. Pretty liveried A330-900 F-WWCJ of RwandAir in nice evening light:

4. This Air Madagascar A340-300 was operated for the airline by Air Atlanta Icelandic, hence the Icelandic registration TF-EAB:

5. One of the many BA A380s present was this G-XLEK:

6. Overview of one of the aprons:

7. This brand new A350-900 is destined for Asiana and is registered F-WZNK. It's clearly parked for the longer-term:

8. HiFly's A330-300 9H-HFC is looking pretty. Also note the "neo" cockpit mask:

9. This Onur Air A321 TC-OEC has been returned to its lessor and will be converted into a freighter:

10. Not the best shot, but still, it's my first Windrose A321:

11. One of the two A330-900 of Azul present is this F-WWCK:

12. And the other is F-WWYF:

13. And I end this set with another overview of another part of the apron:

Hope you liked them!
Cheers!
