The latest word is F-16I from the easiest Sufa squadron to see and photograph in Israel. For non-Israelis.

Edited.

The easiest to see and photograph... well, that rules out the Ramon based squadrons. Which leaves the one based at Hatzerim :)

I concur with the findings of above having been in Israel myself. So that would make it 107sqn if the earlier statement holds ground.

As always: those closest to the fire do catch the greatest heath... You win, Mr D

Having seen quite a few up close and personal (courtesy of one of the above posters) I can only agree with Michel's conclusion as Ramon is pretty much impossible...

Unfortunately trackingdata in insufficient to see where both hercs originated from, perhaps a backlog in flight plans can shed a light on this, though the outcome seems clear if Le Addeur Noir is well informed (again)

It is possible he is clutching at straws as there is still no word on the rehov (street in hebrew) but .... todays rumours are for a sextet of F-16C/Ds

The C-130s came from Nevatim.
Given that the jets are due to arrive on Monday as per an earlier post, why not wait until then to see what type(s) turn up rather than fill the thread up with useless speculation. So far, just about every fighter type in the IDF/AF inventory has been quoted lol.

Mark
