Re: Donauwoerth / Airbus (EDPR) 2020 (CIV+MIL)
The Kawasaki BK.117D2 (JA02BK) c/n 20070, has been converted to a D3 Version, it has now a different rotorhead with five Main Rotor blades.

thanks, five blades are clearly visible on the picture. On the tail still "BK117D-2" though
Re: Donauwoerth / Airbus (EDPR) 2020 (CIV+MIL)
The forward panel above the pilot seats has also been replaced, so i guess it will be repainted soon.
Do you have a picture of the red Norsk ? This could be the first production D3.

I can confirm, the H145 in hangar C9 must be D-HMBE it lives in this hangar and is the only one with a sharkmouth.
Obviously pilot training for the Heer/SAR crews is almost finished. Since two weeks or so only one helicopter (D-HADF) is doing training flights, the other one (D-HADL) I guess will be handed over to Niederstetten soon.
The red Norsk Luftambulanse H145 should in fact be the first D3 version with c/n 21001
I will go there afterwards and have a look as well...

Re: Donauwoerth / Airbus (EDPR) 2020 (CIV+MIL)
LOG Donauwoerth 01-07-2020
thanks Antilliaan!
I just returned from a visit to the factory in my extended lunchbreak and can share the following log:
84+52 CH-53GS Lw/HSG64 (maintenance visitor), checkflight as "Redfox 5"
84+87 CH-53GA Lw/HSG64 (maintenance visitor), outside on the ramp
78+20 NH90TTH Heer/nb (maintenance visitor), checkflight as "Redfox 15"
79+39 NH.90TTH Heer (pulled outside of F8)
79+56 NH.90NFH Marine (NGEN06), first recorded sighting of this one complete and ready (at least for me), engine test and later back into F8
[98+49] Tiger UHT Heer (=74+49), checkflight as "Redfox 6"
74+61 Tiger UHT Heer, was pulled from the main ramp to the Tiger maintenance hangar in the west. Undergoing heavy maintenance as it was totally stripped down.
[D-HADJ] BK-117D2 bk/wh colours (see last visit); production flight as "Redfox 25" (c/n 20340)
[D-HADM] BK-117D2m Hungarian AF, full colours, badge and serial "08" applied. (c/n 20303), Outside on the ramp and later towed into the hangar west of D10 (where it was before). Inside this hangar a second unidentified Hungarian was noted (most probably "12" from Antilliaans log). Furthermore another all yellow H145 plus one in primer inside (no luck this time - the doors were shut before I had my full equipment ready...)
[D-HMBB] BK-117D2m Hungarian AF, also full colours, badge and serial "11" applied. This one was put into delivery hangar C9. I have no c/n for this one so far.
D-HMBE BK-117D2m Airbus (noted together with an unidentified Serbian one in hangar C9 when the Hungarian was pulled in)
G-CLNF EC.135T3H Airbus UK, pulled outside for engine test (c/n 2065)
thanks Antilliaan!

Thanks a lot Alex! I thought that NH90 NFH 79+51 had already been delivered to the German Navy, I must have been wrong then.spottervito wrote:Hi there, no clue on the Tiger but your NFH 98+51 is the first one for German Navy (NGEN01 with future serial 79+51)Hilco wrote:LOG Donauwörth 29-06-2020

Re: Donauwoerth / Airbus (EDPR) 2020 (CIV+MIL)
Hilco,
just to clarify, some NH90-NFHs have been delivered, but this one is still used for tests and system integration; so although 79+51 is the first one in terms of having the lowest serial it was not the first one delivered to the navy.
