I think:
Auster and super cub (R-...)
Meteor and B-25 (I-...)
Also, but this was way back in the early 50's.

Seems like it, yes. Austers flew until 1955, first Cub arrived in 1952. Both with R indeed.Canberra TT.18 wrote:Auster and super cub (R-...)
B-25s had M numbers (and didn't fly anymore when the T-33 came into service).Canberra TT.18 wrote:Meteor and B-25 (I-...)
And there is another example. A little more recent, with at least one type most of us I think still have been able to see...

Do we agree that a Fokker 50 is not the same as a Fokker 60-UTA?ehusmann wrote:Seems like it, yes. Austers flew until 1955, first Cub arrived in 1952. going waaaayyyyy off-topic:
B-25's with M-registration belonged to the ML/KNIL, so not (K)Lu
B-25's with "I" belonged to the MLD, so not (K)Lu

I agree used by 320 VSQ, but 6 B-25 are always listed as used by the KLu in publications.frank kramer wrote:going waaaayyyyy off-topic:

First SAR Alouette 3 came into service early 1966, last Alouette 2 left late 1966. For a few months these flew together.
Just like the situation now with the tankers.

Isn't that 'I' a '1'? I cannot find any references to I- registered B-25s. Only A-11 to A-23, applied on the aircraft as 1-11 to 1-23 (link).frank kramer wrote:going waaaayyyyy off-topic:

Fair point on the M- B-25s, though it doesn't change the fact that it doesn't constitute a double use of the same prefix at the same time.
