I had planned this day to take some pics at the famous Barajas hill. Unfortunately this turned out to be the day with the worst weather of our entire 4 week holiday (the only day with clouds and rain). I should have known all along since it was Friday the 13th.
Nevertheless some pics.
One of the very few Vueling A319s
One of the GetJet animal registrations
Not sure how many aircraft still wear the defunct Joon colors
An Aerolineas Argentinas A330 in the morning and an A340 in the afternoon (unfortunately too much rain with the latter)
Get them while you can
Two ASL Ireland cargo B737's
The sole UK registered Ryanair B737
A nice surprise
I like the colors of Saudia
Soon also celebrating its 100th birthday
Soon after this the real downpour started
Madrid Barajas 13 September 2019

Yes I know it is a B737-800. B737 was a reference to the general type of Boeing. I was not referring to a specific sub-model.

Nice one EC. We left about 20 minutes before the Bolivian B767 was due.
My wife was fed up with the rain and I must say I couldn't blame her.

Hello René,
You mention the Barajas hill. It is not in the Scramble Airfield Guide.
Can you please explain where it is and how to get there?
Thanks and regards,
Jan
