It seems the word "crashed" is to be used with some caution again... according to the article, the aircraft overran the runway (33) at Perpignan airfield, went through the fence, crossed a secundary road (D614) and ended up against the concrete blocks protecting the main road (D116). In some of the photo's you can see that the aircraft is still on its wheels, albeit it in an undignified position
