Good news: Garuda will stay at Schiphol with 6 flights per week. Plus: possible JKT-AMS-LHR-AMS-JKT rerouting, bringing back the opportunity to fly AMS-LHR-AMS on the 777!

That will take more slots.

- KL1445 Amsterdam – Aberdeen 11:40 – 12:10 E190 Mon-Fri

In W19 KLM also increases:
- AMS-GDN from 2x to 3x daily.

FlyBe required to drop 5x frequencies BHX-AMS as part of the merger with Virgin Atlantic, which is part AF/KLM owned:

"BRUSSELS (Reuters) - European Union antitrust regulators cleared on Friday the $2.8 million acquisition of British airline Flybe by Connect Airways, a consortium created by Virgin Atlantic, Stobart Group (STOB.L) and investment adviser Cyrus Capital.

The final approval of the merger, whose details were made public in January, is conditional on the release by Connect Airways of slots for the routes connecting the English city of Birmingham to Amsterdam and Paris, the EU executive said in a statement.

Brussels was concerned that after the merger those routes could have fallen under a near monopoly in favour of the Franco-Dutch giant Air France-KLM (AIRF.PA), which has acquired Virgin Atlantic together with Delta and the Virgin Group of Richard Branson.

To allay the EU Commission’s concerns, Connect Airways committed to the release of five daily slot pairs at Amsterdam Schiphol airport and three daily slot pairs at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport."

Delta plans to operate a 3rd JFK-AMS this W19:

- JFK 16:33 - AMS 05:55 DL46 B763 daily
- JFK 19:34 - AMS 09:10 DL48 B763 daily
- JFK 23:19 - AMS 12:40 DL50 B763 Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun = NEW

KLM will operate AMS-JFK-AMS 2x daily KL641 and KL643, so a total of 5x daily DL/KL in winter.

Delta also plans to operate MCO-AMS with B764 on peak days in December 2019.
While Delta has cancelled LAX-AMS.

Royal Air Maroc in winter 2019/20 season plans to resume service to Rotterdam, where the airline opened reservation for service from Nador and Tangier, from late-October 2019. Planned schedule as follows.

Nador – Rotterdam eff 28OCT19 2 weekly 737-400 (Previously served until September 2002)
AT684 NDR1600 – 1905RTM 734 15
AT685 RTM1200 – 1510NDR 734 15

Tangier – Rotterdam eff 28OCT19 2 weekly 737-400 (Previously served until August 2003)

With this flights Royal Air Maroc will terminate the winter flights to Nador and Tangier from Amsterdam. Regarding to their flight schedule in the winter only CMN-AMS(AT850/851) will be operated. Are they losing slots or selling them? Nador and Tangier are leisure destinations, so maybe AMS is to expensive for them?

According to Routes Online Egyptair will send the A330-300 to Amsterdam during weekends from October 2019, instead of the smaller 737-800.
