The RNLAF Demo Team released an offical statement on their facebook site,
that the team will shut down all internet pages connected to the team.

The following is quoted from the site:

After a 4 year period of non activity from the RNLAF F-16 Demo Team
we have decided to stop and inactivate the RNLAF F-16 Demo Team Facebook page
and the http://www.f16demoteam.nl website.

What started in 1979 as the Royal Netherlands Airforce F-16 Demo Team and stopped in 2015 due to operational priorities,
and the internet presence of the team which started in 2004
it is now also time to stop the internet presence of the RNLAF F-16 Demo Team on 02-01-2019.

At a personal note I can say it has been a blast to provide everybody who was interested in our team with the information,
stories, pictures and video’s provided by our followers and
the team on our website and Facebook pages.
All good things must come to an end!!

The information on our F-16 Demo Team Facebook will be available until 02-01-2019.

Very sadly looks as if that signifies the end of the Dutch F-16 display, a massive shame.

The F-16 display itself wasn’t there for a couple of years already - now the PR department and the ‘sleeping’ organization behind it has ceased ops. Pragmatic Dutch MoD priorities, I guess.

The KLu will convert from the F-16 to the F-35 as from 2019.
I think that they will focus their resources on the F-35 rather than on the (aging) F-16 demo.
