Jonathan,

Thanks again for all the information and help. Sounds like the Japanese air shows are super crowded events.

At least I have a few months to prepare, lol.

Obviously payback for the events of last night, but someone should just mention that it´s the Dutch who use ladders, NOT the Belgians :nonono:

Hi all.

To say about JASDF Iruma airshow, you can see the reharsal date, time and A/C types at Sayama city hall HP now.
It is written in Japanese, but I think you can understand it.

Have a nice spotting day(s) in Japan!

Hi all,
There will be one F-4 fly-by at JGSDF Akeno O.H., on 4 Nov.
The Phantom II will take off at JASDF Gifu A.B., at about 1000am and will land 1130am.

And;
There will come F-4EJkai 37-8428(special marking a/c, 302sqn.) at Gifu O.H. day (18 Nov.).
Usually a/cs for the airshow come on Friday, so it will come 16 Nov., I think.
(I do not know exact arrival date and time. Only my expectation)

Hi Jonathan,

Will it be possible to reach those aircraft on the show day?

Thanks in advance.

Hello, Uni.

Thank you for all the information that you provided here over the last couple of years.
What do you think about friday the 30th of November at Hyakuri?
Will the roads already be blocked?
I suppose routine flying will be very limited with everyone getting ready for the show. Would there be rehearsals and arrivals on the Friday? Or would these take place during the pre-show on saturday?

Best regards,
Buysse 2.

Hi Buysse 2,
I think some roads will temporary close or the policeman will request(or order) to move your cars,
depend on the traffic at that time.

I think there will be no rehearsals on 30 Nov, arrival flight only.
(If the weather is bad at the other rehearsal day(s), and they can't have their trainings enough,
they somtimes fly on Friday)

On Saturday(pre-open day for the invitee and the local peoples), they will have almost the same flight on Sunday.
It will be the real-rehearsal flight.

The map of the traffic control(again);
http://www.mod.go.jp/asdf/hyakuri/pdf/3 ... kisei2.pdf

This is only my expectation:
I think there will be terrible huge traffic jams around the Hyakuri air base on 2 Dec..
A lot of local people who don't know that there are no car-parking around the base,
will come to Hyakuri at first, and then they start to look for their own car-park areas.
In addition, usually, the traffic contorl management is NOT good at that area.

Thank you for the comprehensive reply, Uni.

It's going to be a memorable event, but I also foresee that it's not going to be easy to get into.
I will not be going to the show. I hope to catch Phantom 428 before that. I do like what they did with the paint job. :worship:

Best regards, Buysse 2.
