Hi,
A few weeks ago I passed Linköping so I decided to check out some old stuff at Vardsberg:
This is supposed to be the Draken prototype 35-0 in dead parrot mode.
According to several databases this is supposed to be AJ-37 37019 - it is far from complete.
In the same area there is also another wreck:
Can anybody confirm that this could be JA-37 37366 which should be present at the asirfield as "on firedump"???
And finally one more piece of equipment in that same area:
Can anybody tell me if this military? And what is it?
And with the Saab plant there is a nice Draken on a pole. The Scramble database has it listed with code 40, but obviously it is 35 nowadays:
(all are simple iPhone pics but I thought interesting enough to share).

Re: Linköping - Vardsberg
Hello Erik,
Thanks for the updates.
Indeed my mistake on the preserved Saab 35. It is already there since December 2003 coded as 35.
When the aircraft was still active with F10 it was coded 40 and also when it was in use as an instructional airframe at Skavsta.
I am not able to confirm the part of fuselage as from Saab 37 37366. The cockpit section is from a Saab 105, its id is unknown to me.
Regards,
Hans van Herk

Re: Linköping - Vardsberg
Actually, the latter frame is (marked) 37019, I have a picture of 2 years ago of the same part in the exact same position showing the serial.
Logic would then stick 37366 to your 'far from complete' (but still far more complete than 37019) fuselage.
