Photos from Lajes show VMAQ-3 aircraft again. It was supposed that last year was their final deployment, but it seems rumors were wrong.
Gold12 moved across the Mediterranean on Sunday. Any clue about the movement and next stop of Gold 11 and the Mazda flight? Last year they stopped to Souda, leaving a short flight from Crete to Turkey as the final leg of their deployment. I wish they follow the same route this year!

Actually 162228 was in full VMAQ-3 paint, but 163032 looked like being in a "changing insignia" mode. So, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a last minute transfer to VMAQ-2.
