Rotterdam Harbour 25 + 26/10/2017 US Army

Some images from yesterday, not because they are so special or high quality, more to show you what conditions are like before you decide to give it a try.
Weather was challenging, windy grey etc. All images shot with 400mm. And processed/ cropped afterwards.
Best for me with some light on it:

Light got worse afterwards.

Anyone any reports yet about the view at the harbour? Thinking about checking it out tomorrow, but would appreciate some directions if possible.

Haven 4032, helemaal door rijden tot aan het einde. Alleen foto's mogelijk in de landing, verder niet.

Is this the area? Thought it was more to the left. This is the Oude Maasweg?

Correct, Oude Maasweg. This is where harbour 4032 should be.

I failed to see anything from outside yesterday. And attempts to access were (unsurprisingly) refused.

C7 is where you can park your car and B7 is a good location to photograph the approaching heli's. Please see picture taken from B7: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php? ... 2960452779

What I have seen it is impossible to see the heli's after landing due to containers and wharehouses surrounding the area.

You're correct, they're landing at the terminal at the opposite side of this particular area. The mentioned area is from where you can see them in the approach. You can't see them on the ground.

Some for today, even managed to get an Apache with visible serial on the camera.
Same as yesterday, 400mm plus some cropping/ cutting.
