Just because they have "civilish" registrations. The defination of civil is sometimes not as clear as it Sems. I think that they are owned and operated by the Royal Jordanian Air Force and therefore are just as civil as their F-16s.

No, not because they have civil registrations. As far as i can find on their website not military. Although payed by The government.

Though they are civil registered and are owned to a civil operator they are flown by military pilots. They are being transferred by mil C-130's.

So I now count the extra's and in the past the pitts specials as mil a/c in my database.

Sometimes it is handy to listen to the people in the know (in this case: the Royal Jordanian Falcons) instead of making your own assumptions. At RIAT their commentator explained that they are a civilian team with civil aircraft that have military pilots transferred to them for a few years after which they return to the military (and in the word return is the give-away, at their time at the Falcons they are not military). Most of their transfers are done in their Extras, only the first and last show of their tours see Herc support. That support is not because they should be military, but because of orders by their Royals (that have a proud feeling about the team). If they should have all of their transfers done in C-130s, there wouldn't have been the urgency to nightstop at Texel this week.

And by the way, all airshows that make a difference between military and civilian items have listed them as civil. Would those all be wrong, and if so, wouldn't the team never have asked any of those to change it?
