Oostwold airshow 4 and 5 June
During the Pentecost weekend (Pinksteren in Dutch), the biggest Airshow of the Netherlands is organised at Oostwold airport.
On 4 and 5 June an impressive fleet of warbirds, some of which have never been seen in the country, is expected there.
On top of these historic planes, many modern aircraft can also be seen during the show, which is held at the private airport of Tom Karst van der Meulen, owner of the well-known P-51 Mustang 'Damn'Yankee'

Think the line up is very confusing. One page mentiones a UK Spitfire but it is not mentioned in the time table.
I always say a boy can learn more at an airport than at any school.

Norseman LN-TSN is currently at Lelystad, and was parked outside near the T2-hangar of the Aviodrome Wednesday evening. I am told it will stay here till Friday and then move to Oostwold.

By the way, indeed a very nice smaller event with lots of flying.

Does anyone happen to have any details regarding the visiting Vultee Valiant (N71502, c/n 79-801)?
I'd like to know it's history, like its military serial number.
I've been roaming the web for a long time now but can't seem to get anywhere...
If someone can help me out on this, I'd be very grateful!
Cheers.
