It appears 76+17 is incorrect and has been delated from the report above. This type can be difficult to read off.Nils Berwing wrote:Sure about 76+17 ?Le Addeur noir wrote:Donauworth (EDPR/…) Dienstag 30 Mai

Re: Donauwoerth/Airbus (EDPR) 2017 CIV+MIL
LOG Donauwörth 20/06/17
74+63 Tiger UHT Heer (engine test)
74+66 Tiger UHT Heer new and first sighting (at least for me) engine tests in front of F8
(74+67 Tiger UHT Heer) actually not seen by me but reported by another spotter
79+12 (=TGEE12) Heer f/c, outside of F8
84+28 CH-53G Lw/HSG64, engine test
89+51 SeaKing Mk.41 Marine/MFG5 (inside hangar)
[98+51] (=NGEN001/79+51) NH.90NTH Marine outside of F8 for tests
[D-HCBG] H135(T3H?) all white. Although at first sight not, this one was interesting (At least for me). It should be c/n 1162, which was reported to have been exported to JMSDF as TH-135, but obviously not. The colourscheme would fit for a JMSDF machine. The c/n was reported as "21162". First I thought this was a mistake. But maybe they upgraded the machine to T3H standard and gave it a new c/n (all T3H`s start with "2..."). Anyway, the tail section is like the new T3 version but on the fuselage the old marketing name "Airbus Helicopters" was printed not "Airbus" as the new ones have. But 1162 was initially built as a T2i version with the different tail. Still a mystery!
[D-HECA] H135T3H primer (c/n 2020). Testflight as "Redfox 29"
[D-HECR] Juno HT.1 RAF f/c, no titles as usual. Inside the new H135 hangar next to F8. c/n unknown so far
[D-HECV] Juno HT.1 RAF f/c, no titles as usual. c/n unknown so far. Was outside in preparation for testflight or engine test.
Another RAF Juno HT.1, without any markings nor test registration was towed from one production hangar to another.
D-HNWV H145 Polizei f/c (this one I saw 2 months ago and it still is incomplete and has no test reg.). In front of C8 for some tests
Another H135 in primer and without registration was noted inside the new hangar next to F8 as well as an all yellow unidentified machine.
Regards, Alex

Hey there guys. I am currently living about 75 minutes from Donauworth and would love some information on the best days and locations to visit and get photos of what seems like a very awesome and varied set of Airbus helos. Thank you!

Monday to Friday most flying is in the afternoons. The field is off the B16 just west of the city. The southern end is probably best for photos.

Re: Donauwoerth/Airbus (EDPR) 2017 CIV+MIL
According to the map it looks like the south end is right against B16. Can you explain to me exactly where are some good spots and which roads to be on?Le Addeur noir wrote:Hi there,AmericanSoldier15U wrote:Hey there guys. Re: Donauwoerth/Airbus (EDPR) 2017 CIV+MIL
Hi,
I go there since many years and never had any trouble. Coming from the B2 on the B16 the Heliport is just after you crossed the river Danube. Park your car on Industriestrasse, near the Bridge. If you are hunting military copters or if runway 12 is in use walk parallel to the fence to the western end. There is one gap in the vegetation, directly opposite Hangar F8 (where the Tigers and NH90 helos are parked). You can make here perfect shots from very close distance when the helicopters are lining up in 05 direction. I prefer a place a little bit more to the east from where you can overview almost the whole area.
Photography should be easy as I said I never had any problems here. (But I am trying to keep a low profile anyway)
Regards Alex
