Post by PhotoFlight »

Both KDC10 tankers are''broken'' so no Frisian flag support the first couple or days

The idea is that there will be a package in the afternoon as well, as half of the spotters' day takes place in the afternoon...

Where are the pictures? I see a lot of videos, but it takes too much time watching them all. I am looking forward to see nice pictures.

KDC-10 T-235 is up and running, as it was seen overhead Almere heading for a track just now.

Anyone for approximate mission times in week 1?

I assume no take-offs before 09:00 local, resulting in landings taking place before 11:30, with the afternoon wave taking-off around 13:30~14:00?

Apart from the 3 tankers (same daily pattern just northwest of Vlieland) and the Cobham Falcon 20, I just see 1 RAF Tornado (CES47) heading north over the North Sea coming from Lwd on ADS-B, but it disappears on and off for a few minutes. Do they switch the transponders off sometimes? It's currently at 10.000ft. Sorry I'm entirely new to this ADS-B thing! :-)
