Sorry, still disappointed the famous Patrouille Suisse taxiing demonstration didn't make it to the DVD last year.

While that was great and fun to see and hear over the speakers! A bummer indeed.
Good to see the Raptor coming back again. It had to stop the demo on Sunday last year.

•The Belgian Air Component's spectacular F-16AM Fighting Falcon display will feature again at RIAT 2017, piloted by Cdt Tom 'Gizmo' De Moortel in his third and last season as the demo pilot.

Joining it in the flying programme will be another Belgian contribution, a search and rescue demonstration by a soon-to-be-retired Sea King Mk48.

A single F-16 and C-130H Hercules transport are set to join the static park.


In addition to the Fighting Falcon, the RIAT 2017 flying programme will also feature a search and rescue demonstration by a Westland Sea King helicopter operated by the Belgian Air Component's 40 Squadron at Koksijde on the North Sea coast. These veteran machines are nearing the end of their service in Belgium, making the Air Tattoo one of the last occasions on which such a display will be seen at a British event.

Backing these up will be two aircraft from the Belgian Air Component on static display, namely a single F-16 and C-130H Hercules transport.
