MC-12 situation

MC-12S new version of Beech King Air 300.

MC-12S became EMARSS-S. 4 aircraft delivered.

MC-12S-1 became EMARSS-G. 3 planes planned (8?)
Geo-spatial
2018 end of TACOP/LIDAR QRC program.
11-00266 2013

MC-12S-2 became EMARSS-M. 8 planes planned.
Multi-intelligence.
2018 end of USAF Liberty program. Only 8 MC-12W to MC-12S-2.
08-00376 2015

MC-12S-3 became EMARSS-V. 4 aircraft planned.
Movíng target indicator.
2018 end VaDER QRC program.

More information about the RC-12S.

24 aircraft ordered in November 2015. Earlier plan of 30 aircraft reduced to 24 aircraft.
Contractor L-3 in Greenville.
Includes the earler delivered 4 EMARSS-S.
Type of aircraft King Air 350ER.

Redstone Arsenal are involved.

The first 4 EMARSS-S are based at Hunter AAF with 224 MIAEBn.

Picture on internet with elongated nose for special equipment.

Viewed on ADS-B Exchange, "ARMY646" MC-12W 09-(0)0646 hexcode AE2F63 arrived Hagerstown shortly after 23.00Z tonight 02 Dec 2016. It flew direct from the approximate area East of Dallas/Fort Worth (Greenville?). Possible one for MC-12S-2 conversion?

I stumbled upon some official US Army Contracting Command documents regarding a RFP for life cycle acquistion management for the army's fixed wing fleet of transport and manned ISR aircraft recently. One of the documents gives a detailed overview of the SEMA aircraft that were part of the army's organisation as of 1 July 2015 (additions in bold).

Greenville/TX is home for L3, Hagerstown is for Sierra Nevada.
A lot of data is from SBS/ livemode-s and ADSB Exchange. Any additional info is more then welcome!
There are still a lot of question marks, at least 5 or 6 have not been noted since 2015, and still seem to be in the Middle East, as it seems 455thAEW/Bagram and 451stAEG/Kandahar are the operating units for these MC-12's.

Great listing, Pieter - well done!

09-0659 departed Greenville on 13th January 2017 and flew (as viewed on ADS-B Exchange) into North Carolina on a heading that suggested a destination of one of the JB Pope/Bragg airfields. Noted by "pilotman6012" in his KHSV Radio Activity topic for that day with a callsign of "ARMY00659". On ADS-B the callsign was showing as "PL28".

On both 18th & 19th January 2017, I have noted it on ADS-B over North Carolina.

Your guess is as good as mine as to what it is up to.

Hi Pieter,

A bit more for your Beech 350s from the FAA Registry.

An extra one for your list is N6366S A85741 FL-666...no further info other than that it is registered with US SOCOM.

N40GZ, N83KE and N586BW have left SOCOM and are now registered with the Arizona Dept. of Public Safety. Similarly, N357RL is now with J&D Petroleum of Tallahassee, FL.

Finally, N64TR routed Southbound over the UK (out of Prestwick) on 16 Jan 2016......to Africa??
