*** And I bet you can't guess who parked right next to the IAI fighter store

Two IAF S-70s were on hand, 822 & 825, and parked near the IAI sheds were F-16A 737, Kfir 979, Mi-8MTV IAI817 (civil) and the 2nd Lavi prototype (no serial - the other extant a/c is at Hatzerim museum).

Two IL76-MDs arrived with some stuff, note that one has the smooth, flowing lines beloved of spotters around the globe whilst the other has no rear gunner position. These were the advance party for the visit of PM Medvedev who arrived in IL-96 RA-96012, with another in support 96020 and a Tu-214 RA-64504. You can imagine how the visit came up: Hello Dmitry, this is Bibi. No, Bibi. Well if you could just turn the music down a bit Dmitry. That's better. Now Dmitry, you know how we've often spoken about the bomb. No Dmitry, not that one, the regular ones you keep giving to our neighbors .....

In other news, the 2nd Italian AF G.550 was rolled out and wears code 14.12 with a big sticker over the MM number. It says 454 (you may remember the 14.11 carries 429). Local G-5 679 has emerged from respray with the tail number carried on the dorsal fin. Exciting stuff.
