Icelandic carrier Wow Air in winter 2016 season plans to expand capacity on Reykjavik Keflavik – Amsterdam route, with the introduction of 200-seater Airbus A321 aircraft. The A321 will be replacing existing 174-seater Airbus A320 service, starting 31OCT16.

As the airlines prepare for lower demand this winter, Delta has released a new reduced W16 schedule:

- ATL - DL down to 1x daily on certain Tue, Wed, Thu of November/Jan/Febr. So from overall 4x to 3x daily DL/KL on slow days only.
- MSP - DL down to 1x daily on certain Tue, Wed, Thu.
- SLC - DL has reduced the frequency of the new W16 route, to just 3x or 4x per week.
- SEA - will be reduced earlier to 1x daily on slow days in October.
