Hello fellows!
Just a quick preview of 10 of the Frisian Flag exercise form this year. We had a lot of activity the last two weeks on the ground and in the air so I would like to share some of my images with you. A long time ago that I saw so many different types of aircraft, F15's, F18's, Mirage 2000's, Tornado's, Eurofighters and F16's at the same time and had a flashback to the 80's-90's where you got high on kerosine and too many exercises to attend, love it! Take a look and enjoy the species.

Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Nice set indeed. The editing is debatable but I like it. Especially when I saw the Flickr account of "Awacs". He is very consistent with the editing and I saw loads of old SSB (and other) images done the same way. This made it look like like the F-15 & F-111 photo's where shot yesterday. I love it this way.

Hi Frank,
the editing is indeed debatable, and everybody has its own idea how he/she likes pictures most. I checked his Flickr account as well, and indeed he is very consistent in his editing. Stunning pics there as well!

Exactly the reason why I stopped posting photo's on Scramble. This guy has amazing pictures from angles and locations most of us would only dream of but still there is a need to complain about how much the photos have been edited.
Great pictures man! Hope you have more to share.

Hey folks! beauty is in the eye of the beholder...nothing more nothing less, appreciate the positive vibes and will continue with some French mirages and Polish vipers later on;-) For me posting some pictures here at scramble is just a case of sharing and give people a different look at what they can do after you made the photo's, drag it to another level and give them a finishing touch. My preferable tools are Photoshop CC, Lightroom CC and some postproduction tools like the Nik Collection from Google which is since a couple of weeks a free download at http://www.google.com/nikcollection/
Cheers!

The only one complaining here is the one complaining about other people expressing their opinion.Thermal wrote:Exactly the reason why I stopped posting photo's on Scramble. And I agree. Nice shots, but in my opionion too, the editing is overdone.
