Hello,

During the Marrakesh airshow I will be in Morocco for a holiday.
Of course we (my wife and I) have planned to visit the airshow on April 30th.

Based on previous reports (and suncalc.) the show will be in full back light and therefore very hard to photograph.
I've been told that visiting spotters (groups, 4Aviation) are locating themselves outside the airport, on the opposide of the runway.
I'm wondering if somebody can inform me about this location so we can have some company.

Unfortunately Ronald, except at Lulea or Severomorsk (although the Murmansk region not noted for midsummer open days) you are not gonna shoot much at 02.00

Not sure what your source is (so i am not claming it is not true!), but on the internet i only read Marocco invited the JF-17 to show it's capabilities at Marrakech, didn't find any confirmation they actually will do so.

Well... it seems JF17 rumours are true since RMAF is probably going to buy it as replacement for the F-5 and it seems they are going to finalize the deal during the Air Show.

My contact there told me also that US will be present with : F-16 / CV22 / C-130 and KC135
