Both VFA-106 as VFA-122 were flying out of NAF El Centro on my first visit. And ofcourse the
Blue Angels did one practise event in the morning. Nice to see so much action on a Saturday.

If there is a unit at El Centro, they will fly Saturday's between 7am up till 3pm at the latest. It is also known
that unit's arrive on the Saturday.
At Yuma not too much is going on in the weekend, although I have had some nice Saturday's there. In general
the Sunday is a quiet day. Never say never though

Thanks Charles.
Will take a look at El Centro first and then look at Yuma. Heard that during WTI they do fly on saturdays.....
Time will tell,

Re: NAF El Centro, CA 2016 - MIL
I stayed near NAS Key West recently. On weekdays, flying started around 7am. On Saturday (to my great surprise) flying started at 9am. The resident F-5's of VFC-111 didn't fly that Saturday, only the visiting units. I guess a couple of temp-based VFA-204 and VFC-12 Hornets and ATAC Hunters fulfilled the bad guy role that day.Heard usn / usmc (el centro / Yuma and others) do fly quite often on saturdays (and even sundays)....
Best regards,
Bas

Re: Chasing planes AZ, NV, CA and RF16-1 (MIL)
Last year I made a shot stop in the middle of the night to check out the T-6B's. This year
I was at the fence of Bullhead City-Laughlin, NV by 7.30am, just in time to see the first T-6's
take off for their daily routine.
Two hours later 22 of the 25 had flown A log can befound here;http://forum.scramble.nl/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=121483

VMFA-121 I had a detachement UH-1Y/AH-1W's from HMLA-469 flying from here. First a couple of visitor's;

Nice shots! The F-5's are simply stunning...
One question: did you tilt some of your pics, so the object's attitude looks horizontally straight? Or does it just appear that way?
Regards,
Stephan

Thanks Stephan!
I'm just a beginner. It could be that I am just not holding my camara straight ofcourse .
The "08" has a correction of 0,15 degrees, the rest are all taken with these angels, no correction.
