Re: Seoul airshow 20-26 October 2015
Just checked the Moderator log for the entire month October and can't find any reference that you succesfully posted a log here (nothing was altered by the moderator team). Possibly the preview version did not made it online? (however that is a personal thought).Mr AMARC wrote:Hi

And I counted a total of 21 Blackhawks in the US Army area, incl. the 3 that departed.
And finally, noted only on one of my photos later:
When C-130H 05-185 departed, a hangar behind the parked VCH-92 was partially open, and partially visible was what may have been the nose of the 2nd BAe.748 in service, 1718. It may have been another white 296.Sqn. aircraft though.
Any additions to fill the gap are of course welcome.
Best regards
Martin

Unit details for 4 out of 5 of the F-4Es seen here on the 19th as a result of a visit to Cheongju AB on the 23rd,
60-497 F-4E 152 FS 17 FW
80-743 F-4E 153 FS 17 FW
60-505 F-4E 152 FS 17 FW
80-732 F-4E 15. FS 17 FW

Re: Seoul airshow 20-25 October 2015
The E737 (or B737-7ES) tail numbers are derived from the Boeing assigned MSNs and the 4 Republic of Korea airplanes are as follows,
64-700 MSN 34700
65-327 MSN 35327
65-328 NSN 35328
65-329 MSN 35329
On this basis, the E737 in the practice flypast on the 19th should read 64-700 and not 65-700.
64-700 MSN 34700
65-327 MSN 35327
65-328 NSN 35328
65-329 MSN 35329
On this basis, the E737 in the practice flypast on the 19th should read 64-700 and not 65-700.

My pics show that it was another white CN.235 (couldn't make out the markings), plus there was another black VH-60P 01867 parked in front of that.
There was also a Korean VH-60 (green camo) that arrived 10 minutes after the Herc took off. You wouldn't happen to have the serial of that?
The BAe.125 that departed late on the Saturday was 25-346
Thanks

Re: Seoul airshow 20-25 October 2015
Hi Durran
Many thanks for the reply, I started thinking that I was the only not Korean guy on the weekend. Could not make it earlier for one of the days with the flypasts ...
Unfortunately I have no additions to what was in my original post, thus I cannot help with the missing VH-60 serial. I did not even note that one, I have to say, also the 2nd VH-60 01867. I left arond 17:30 / 18:00, was approaching the exit when the 3 USAAC Blackhawks departed, as well as the CH-47F that had arrived shortly before. And it was a mistake not to have a last look at the hangars as it seems. I checked my photos again, to find that another hangar containign a white aircraft (CN.235 size) was opened, visible in the far distance behind the CN.235 I photographed in the static. Beginners mistakes after 38 years in business ....
Anyhow thanks for the BAe.125 on Saturday, which caught me by surprise when I was taking pictures of the displayed aircraft.
Best regards
Martin
