As mentioned in the Helispot we made a trip around the Alps last weeks and saw some helicopters.

Nice trip Jan!
What exercise was that with the Bundespol and Polizei helicopters?
Where and did yoy know it in advance?

Thanks.
It is an exercise mainly for the Bundespolizeifliegerstaffel. They train to fly and land in the mountains.
They operated from Füssen, and from there they flew into the mountains. And after about 1.5 hour they came back for refuel.
I heard of it during the trip so we rescheduled a bit.

Well done, Jan! I always enjoy your reports. A lot of nice helicopters with a scenic background. Polizei BK-117 stands out for me!

Nice set of pics again Jan. It seems it was a large tour around the Alps. The Finnish borderguard is my favourite
