Re: F-22 to Europe
This morning a local Frankfurt radiostation mentioned an "undisclosed location in Germany".
Meantime German media (e.g. Spiegel online) are talking about "bases from where the Raptors could act in case of a possible European conflict".

In that case, I think there's only one option likely.....Gerard wrote:This morning a local Frankfurt radiostation mentioned an "undisclosed location in Germany".

Re: F-22 to Europe
As the article in der Spiegel consistently refers to the base they will be stationed at as plural, they'll probably fly from a number of different bases during the stay, like we've seen with the A-10s and F-15s.Bennie wrote:In that case, I think there's only one option likely.....Gerard wrote:This morning a local Frankfurt radiostation mentioned an "undisclosed location in Germany".

Or perhaps we will have to wait somewhat longer. This information is not confirmed.

Re: F-22 to Europe
The information has proved to be valid. Except that now half-a-dozen F-22A Raptors are expected at Spangdahlem instead of the previously rumoured quartet.
