Some moments after I saw the formation , I made an emergency shot with 400mm, but by then the F15s had moved away from the tanker 500 metres or so already and they we a few kilometres further, almost out of sight. Enough to tell it were F15s though, but nothing more...

From what i understood the dutch KDC-10 is not allowed to refuel F-15's so my guess is that you indeed saw this KC-10 with the JZ F-15's, nice!

Re: Wie wat waar vliegt daar - 2015 MIL
Today around 18.30 lt a C-17 passed Volkel at high level into Germany. The only one logged at the moment was a Canadian one; 177701. Can spmeone confirm it was the Canadian, because most of the time they travel overhead Belgium. I've never seen a Canadian one at the navpi-nolru route before.

Re: Wie wat waar vliegt daar - 2015 MIL
Pity that I missed this one cause I saw 06-6163 C-17A OTT at 14.12 and expected the KC-10 wait a few minutes but didn't saw it. So it should be OTT a few minutes earlier...Wolbie wrote:At +/- 14.13LT GOLD73 (KC-10A 79-1710 305 AMW)+ MAZDA21 flt (4x F-15 159 FW/'JZ') overhead Nieuwegein heading SE (NAVPI->MILGI).

Re: Wie wat waar vliegt daar - 2015 MIL
Amost sure this was 177701 if I follow it's routing and the Mode-s location logs- but didn't see this one cause I wasn't looking...witje wrote:Today around 18.30 lt a C-17 passed Volkel at high level into Germany.
