Me and my brother went to Switzerland last week to catch some Action at Meiringen and Payerne.
First time out with my new lens and I am more than happy !
The weather played ball for most of the time and we had some great light opportunities :)

Payerne is still very accesable
the famous spots are still open but it could be that it will be different in the near future as every where is construction work going on .... do not know what happens when this is finisched ...

Erik,
The ''new'' Lens is a Nikon AF-S 300mm F4.
I used to have the ''old'' 300mm F2,8 AF-D Version which was favorit over years but due to its size and weight I decided to swap to the AF-S 300mm F-4 as I had very good results during a US tour.
Especially the possible combination with the TC-14E II made me do this as I have a fullframe D3s and was aiming for some more mm's 420mm , the otrher choice would have been the 80-400 but that would fill my backpack even more...

I am happy with the results althoug the 2.8 will be missed
