A 11th French victim passed away in Hospital, and the situation of one Italian crewmember is very critical
Very sad. R.i.p.

The F-16 took an incline to the right the moment if left the ground and that its right wing touched the ground.
Citing sources from the Greek Air Force,
website onalert.gr notes that under the right wing a fake rocket anti-radar Harm missile was attached.
The sources, speculate that there might have been some problem with the loading of the aircraft ‘weapons’.
Further speculations claim
a) a “foreign object” may have caused the engine to stop (most possible scenario)
b) a serious problem in the jet rudder (less possible scenario)
Investigations on the F-16 Block 50 on the ground will focus on the Fly By Wire (FBW), ) the system that replaces the conventional manual flight controls of an aircraft with an electronic interface.”

Can't believe that some of you are just interested in the serial numbers at this stage. Get in touch with reality man, many people died and were seriously injured and all you think about is the serial number. FFS!!!! It's pathetic!

That's because they want to show off with pictures they've taken during multiple airshows.
Sad world

It's a fact and reality that people have died and that some serious injured are fighting for their lives. It's also a fact that there are aircraft involved in this tragedy.
I don't think people should be judge just for asking information of any kind or to fill in blanks why people do ask that kind of information.
Besides, official authorities in Greece released the names of both pilots and the serial of the aircraft involved. It looks like it can be done both.
Just my two pennies.
Judging people just because they are asking more information, is sad too in my opinion.
Not to go off topic too much ...
But tragedy has struck numerous times, and will probably keep on doing so ...
Life goes on ... and so does our hobby ...

Re: Greek F-16 crash at Albacete
Is there allready a presumable reason for this horrible crash?
Compromise is failure.
