Re: Albacete/Los Llanos (LEAB/ABC)/TLP - 2015
Fortunately, today is not the spotterday. Some spotters in the zone told to me that the aircraft crashed into flightline when it was taking-off. They have Heard some aircrafts exploiting (French Alpha Jets and Italian AMX see in the pictures). The official version of the Ejercito del Aire is 10 dead and 13 injured. Very very sad news (

According to updates in the Parisien article quoted by Iwan, two Alpha Jets, one M2000D and two AMX's were destroyed or damaged by the F-16 crash. French victims included two pilots, one navigator and 5 ground crew, 7 of the victims coming from BA133/Nancy-Ochey. So sad My condolences.

By Tuesday afternoon authorities had not retrieved the 10 bodies at the scene because workers were still cleaning up highly toxic fuel at the crash site, said Capt. Jose Guerrera, an air force spokesman.
Twenty French and Italian citizens were injured and four remained hospitalized in Madrid undergoing treatment for severe burns, the ministry said. French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian was traveling to Madrid and the base Tuesday.

according to Stars & Stripes at least one of the 3 deployed F-15E of 492 FS was damaged. Another Strike Eagle - close to the crash site - had not been examined yet.

Re: Greek F-16 crash at Albacete
As a matter of fact, I can't see any difference of asking this at any stage.Pillow wrote:True.nellis6 wrote:Can't believe that some of you are just interested in the serial numbers at this stage. Get in touch with reality man, many people died and were seriously injured and all you think about is the serial number. FFS!!!! It's pathetic!
That's because they want to show off with pictures they've taken during multiple airshows.
Sad world
It's a fact and reality that people have died and that some serious injured are fighting for their lives. It's also a fact that there are aircraft involved in this tragedy.
I don't think people should be judge just for asking information of any kind or to fill in blanks why people do ask that kind of information.
Besides, official authorities in Greece released the names of both pilots and the serial of the aircraft involved. It looks like it can be done both.
Just my two pennies.
