Can anyone tell me which Swiss base will be used this year for fighters covering the WEF air space? I heard it rotates every year throughout the Swiss bases.

Any updates on WEF patrols flying out of Meiringen later this month? I know there are scheduled repetition courses going on during the same time there. Just planning on flying over from the USA to take some photos.

There won't be a lot of F-5's flying, part of the fleet is grounded due to cracks which were found in the wings of some F-5's. All F-5's have to be checked. CAP will be done by Hornets from Meiringen, and by those F-5's which have been checked already.

Thank you for the speedy reply. I sure hope they get more F-5's checked and cleared to fly within the next week.
