Sort of witnessed the crash today; while on the campsite in Italy heard a big bang, followed by witnessing two large plumes of smoke. Accident happened 25-30 km from the campsite but plumes were well visible and bang was very loud. Strange to hear afterwards it were two Tornados. They crashed near the village we visited an hour before the crash...

I was in the exact same situation(what campsite were you?). We heard some jets that day and also in days before, but was not able to see any of them.
