Why should spotters not be allowed??? Richard please re-think your comment, 75 people canceling is such a bloody shame! I do hope this will be looked into and people will be banned from future events!

Keep up the good work Alex, it's very much appreciated!

Grtz,

Marcel
Whey do you care about 75 people and their personal lifes you do not know anything about and you can just presume their reasons without knowing. And what change does it make to your life if 75 people cancel or not.
What is a bloody shame however is that a lot of helicopters where directed to land far away and/or even out of sight from the spotters (probably due to the "intense traffic" all day Long * ;-)
Nevertheless, it was a great day with many friendly people staying outside and "few" but some great aircraft movements.
Thanks to the organizers especially for the 2 x Dutch Navy NH-90, 2 x Bo.105 landing together, 2 x Slovak MiG-29, 2 x THK F-4E and 2 x TB.30 plus the 12 x based helos in the airpower demo yesterday.
So no reason to reconsider my post - everything is awesome ;-)

* apart of that organizers must have done a great job making such an event possible in Budget restricted times ...

Routing B-52s is westbound. There is no B-1 at Moron.

although the weather didn't work out well, and the list of arriving aircraft and helo's were not as we were used to have (or wished to have, but some of us are spoiled even me  ),
I like to give a big :respect: to the people of GRAS and the vollunteers for their efforts to create a perfect arranged day. good parking close to the spottersplace, enough space for everybody. It was a relaxed atmosphere, everybody followed the rules of the organisation.
so keep up the good work.

Just like to say thanks to GRAS for organising the access for us all, whilst the weather was not at its best and arrivals were a little slow(all out of GRAS Control) it was still (for me anyway) a very worthwhile day

thanks guys
