With the exception of all foreign stuff, there is only boring Dutch stuff, cry cry....

Please, at least have the decency to complain AFTER the open day, in stead of before. The thing hasn't even started yet!

I totale agree with the last Message! IF you want complain about a large airshow you get. for free, please do so afterwards. But even better, just stay at home and don't spoil the internet with this attitude of never being satisfied......

Kieran has the right to complain. I too have no relationship with the KLu, have nothing to gain or to lose and can speak freely.
But still I disagree with Kieran. To me the Portuguese C295, Austrian Allouette, Belgian NH90, French Epsilons, Greek F-16, Polish SW-4s and British Avenger are highlights too! None of these have been at RIAT sofar, I think. So :respect: to the organisation!

Hi guys,
watching the posts I have to remember you all of the fact that the French (80 Years FAF) and the Royal Danish AF (100 Years of Military Aviation), although they knew our dates, scheduled their shows in "our" weekend and they took away a lot of assets already assigned for Gilze Rijen. Further I have to remember you, that you have to pay €20,- entry fees for the Belgian Air Force show at KB, €30,- for the Swiss Airshow in Payerne and just €40,- for a one day ticket for RIAT......For this kind of entry fees it is possible to organise the best airshow in the world! I wish you all a nice , free of charge, show at Gilze Rijen!

that's no excuse!
Year's ago Leeuwaarden had the Blue Angels and no entrance fee
Few year's ago Koksijde had the Thunderbirds ,only 10 euro for entrance
Then they know what they have to do for next year.I have no problem paying 20 euro for a good filled program

Please all complainers, stay at home!
I will go this nice airshow and will enjoy it!
I don't want the airshow being spoiled by all those complaining people.
It is nice for us that the Royal Netherlands Air Force is organizing an airshow for us for free!
They haven't to do this, be happy they do, it is much better then no airshow at all.
Now stop complaining!

I guess all shows are less then 15 to 20 years ago, we just have to be satisfied with what we get.
I personally think that the program is ok and after the tigermeet on thursday i will be there at Gilze.
You never know what will show up in the last week!
Compromise is failure.

I still remember Twenthe Open Day 1991. Back then I thought it sucked bit time, especially after big words of the organisation about MiG's and finally not even a single Warsaw pact bird showing up. Only usual stuff like USAFE F-111, RAF Buccaneer, French Mirage V...

Anyway, I hope you get my point. It will be one of the last chances to see a Slovak AF Fulcrum, try to make the most out of it :)

To all the complainers about all the airshows that are not as you would like to see them please stop your hobby as you are seriously irritating others who do appreciate the efforts being made by the organisors if these shows...

Really irritated to read all the negative ==censored== about Gilze, NTM 2014 and others... please stop this!

No one is forced to go to Gilze, take it as it is. PAYING for the Dutch Air Force Open House to get "better" aircraft is never going to happen as this venue is not specifically meant for the spotters.

To all the complainers: go postzegelverzamelen!!!

To all the enjoyers: how many times do we have left to see F-4s and MIG29s in our country.... we are losing the Mirage F1 this year from europe so enjoy the others wile we can....
