Peru Base visits. Photo. Day 6. Callao

Last tuesday A.K. and I flew to Lima in the hope we would be able to visit the rehearsal for the flight pass over Lima next sunday. The conditions were tricky. The flights were cancelled a few times because of low clouds but at the end of the day (with much better light conditions :-)) the a/c took off.
A full report will appear in the GRAS magazine "Take Off".

A pity that "the toned-down colours virus" has now also hit Peru,
but some rare catches, eh! :shock:

Thanks for all the nice comments.
The DC.10 in the back is J2-KCG.
This day (wednesday) was great. Yesterday and today we are relaxing in Lima and we hope to take some more shots this weekend. But nothing is sure here...
I Photoshopped a few more pics, hope you like them.
Read the Take Off magazine in a few months for the whole story.
