It is nice that you guys got where you came for! Nice shots of the departures at SCL. Have a great flight back to AMS tonight. When you make it, Dorine is one of the crew, give her a big hug from me!
Cheers,
CJ.

Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Santiago de Chile & surroundings (photo), Day 5 Navy
Last Teusday was the last full day of our trip. We visited ENAER at El Bosque and after we drove to the Navy airfield of Vina del Mar. The goal was to see the Bandeirantes and O-2's. Unfortunately the O-2's are phased out but we were very Lucky to see the Bandeirante fly.
Wednesday we left Santiago for Holland. While in take off we saw an Argentinian C-130 on the line.... Next time we will get out of bed earlier to check the airfield before leaving......
Hope you liked the pics. Frisian Flag next .

Hi Patrick,
You were able to meme some nice stuff in Chile! I hope it was that you were aiming for. I am not that much into serials but I happen to know that the F-5F is the 816. No idea if you knew that or not.
Cheers,
CJ.
