Re: EHAM runway in use NSS
22-3-14: 18C and 27 during inbound peak. Winds should move to the southwest during the day, so the main landing runway could be 18C, 22 or 27.
22-3-14 0902h: inbound peak is over, main runway is now 18C.
22-3-14 1055h: another inbound peak, runways 18C and 27 in use.
22-3-14 1125h: inbound peak is over, main runway is now 18C (except for Reach 373, which will get 27)

If they landed on RWY22, how big are the odds they will depart from there as well?

Re: EHAM runway in use NSS
Big, I would say.
Edit:
There is a wingspan restriction keeping a C-17 from taxiing to the beginning of 22, but if they are indeed relocating empty to Ramstein that should probably enable them to use the remaining 1700 m or so. However, other factors may play a role, too...

I notice that right now, both 18C and 27 are in use for incoming traffic.
What can I expect, will the NSS traffic use 18C?

Re: EHAM runway in use NSS
Depending on their route (IAF): from the East (ARTIP) 27 is most likely, from the South and West, 18C would be preferential.Lifeliner 3 wrote:I notice that right now, both 18C and 27 are in use for incoming traffic.

SBS laat zien hoe elke delegatie een ontvangst krijgt, wordt toch wel verder taxieen voor de leden, en zoveel tijd hebben ze niet. Laten we morgenochtend afwachten

Re: EHAM runway in use NSS
Runway use tomorrow seems to be up for grabs. The wind looks like to be due west. Landing on 27 probably, but what will be the secondary landing runway, still 18C?

Re: EHAM runway in use NSS
En dat is dan wel in UTC, dus lokale in tijden zal de wind tussen 08:00 - 11:00 veranderen naar noord met 8 knopen. Overigens is de wind tot die tijd volgens de TAF variabel met 3 knopen. Daar kan je dus elke baan mee gebruiken die je wil...Arjenp wrote:KNMI EHAM TAF laat zien: BECMG 2407/2410 36008KTWijgert IJlst wrote:Weeronline shows wind coming directly from the North during the morning.
