ETIHAD seems to have expanded its codeshares on AUH-AMS-AUH to yet another new partner airline code: XY - FlyNAS Airlines.

As part of flynas partnerships, Etihad Airways and flynas signed a free sale codeshare agreement in October 2012, which means our passengers benefit from being able to select a seat on specified Etihad flights and therefore have a greater selection of flights and destinations to choose from.

Some of you have noticed that CZ is operating new A333 aircraft on PEK-AMS-PEK lately.

The airline has published an irregular 5x/week A333 service PEK-AMS-PEK until 15 March, after which the daily A332 will return.

Kalitta Air launches additional 2x/week B744F NYC-AMS-NYC flights:

KALITTA AIR, in co-operation with Wallace Air Cargo Group/Inter Aviation Services and HAE Group, is to launch a twice-weekly B747-400F scheduled service to New York (JFK) from March.

The new route – New York-Amsterdam-New York – is expected to capitalise on the strong demand for scheduled main-deck B747 freighter services linking the prime commercial hubs of New York and Amsterdam, both eastbound and westbound, says a statement.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has secured daily landing slots at London's Heathrow Airport.

This could be the end of MNL-AMS-MNL as PAL had previously stated to prefer opening flights to London over AMS.

Beetje mosterd na de maaltijd (gezien winter 2013/14 lang voorbij is), maar Philippines zal ook komende periodes niet naar AMS gaan komen. Ze hebben net aangekondigd dat uitbreiding naar Europa voorlopig zeker niet zal gaan komen. Buiten de Heathrow vluchten zullen er geen nieuwe bestemmingen bij komen.
