Nellis AFB (KLSV/LSV) - MIL 2014

Hey guys,

I am going to RF 14-2 from March 11-13.
I have a few questions.
On google maps I noticed that there are quite a few preserved planes at Nellis (Freedom Park).
Can I get there? Or is it on base and not accessible?
Is the Thunderbirds hangar/ museum interesting to visit?

Since this is my first visit to RF I have no idea what to expect.

A long shot but which 11 MO F-15s departed today? (saw them land at MO but unable to read).

maybe someone who knows which 7 MO F-15Es were prked on the South side of the base (live munition revetments) thursday morning (13th) Unable to read them due heatwaves.

Looks like at least some of the RAF left today,i just caught ASCOT 9301 which is TRISTAR KC1 ZD951 eastbound,i am also told the RAF E-3D ZH101 as RRR 7031 landed at Halifax,Nova Scotia to spend the night.

Hi,

Not 100% sure, but guessing UAE F-16s are enroute to Nellis. They are not on RF list, so perhapf for a GF?

This week 6 F-16s passed westbound via Moron. C-17 was also flown to US.

Sorry if they don't end up at Nellis, but thought it might be interesting to mention

That's early, Starman. There won't be much activity at Aviano and Lakenheath the coming weeks/month I guess.
