Re: ETAR 08-02-2014
I think this one ran into trouble over the atlantic;11:32 87-0043 C-5B 439th AW AFRC as "RCH 124"
(from Westover FB page)"A C-5 B assigned to Westover Air Reserve Base was returning from overseas en route to Dover Air Force Base at 34,000 feet with 25 crew and passengers when the aircraft experienced a loss of pressurization shortly after 11 a.m. while over the Atlantic Ocean. As a precaution, the aircraft was diverted to Westover ARB for maintenance actions. Westover rescue crews are standing by as a standard safety measure. No injuries were reported, and no in-flight emergency was declared. The aircraft is due to arrive at Westover by 2:20 p.m."
(once againe from the Westover FB page)The C-5B that diverted en route from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, to Dover Air Force Base, Del., today landed safely at Westover Air Reserve base, Mass., at 2:29 p.m. Twenty-five people were on board. One young female was taken to a local hospital with a minor injury. No other injuries were reported. The C-5B aircraft is assigned to the 439th Airlift Wing, Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass.
