Re: Nellis AFB (KLSV/LSV) - MIL 2014
The special marks bird (A21-49) has not made it to KLSV. One jet had to do an emergency landing at Anderson AFB with a hydraulic leak and it appears this is the jet. There are seven RAAF Hornets on the Nellis flight line as of 07.30 on the 30th.GIPS wrote:A21-21, A21-23, A21-45 and A21-49 departed williamstown..The 49 was the special 77sqn bird

These jets are not from the same squadron. some are 3 Sqn and others are 77 Sqn,there may even be some from 75 Sqn.
Another KC-135R identified today off SBS is 60-0324(should be 91st ARS,92nd ARW).
The road to the speedway from the main gate was off limits at least during part of the afternoon, preventing spotting from the usual afternoon position. Normal service has now been resumed, and if the predicted rain holds off Friday afternoon at the speedway is billed as "the place to be".
F/A-18F 166635 is code DD-213.
2 additional F/A-18Es seen departing during the afternoon of the 29th were (DD)-207 and 216.These were read from photos on departure from runway 03 from the speedway.
These did not depart with the main Red Flag early afternoon launch and these jets were not present on the flight line at 07.30 on the 30th.they appear to have been visitors.
