F - 16 fighter aircraft of the Royal Air Force exercise in the
period of Monday, October 7th to Friday morning October 18 in shedding
bombs with explosive charge on the NATO training location Vliehors Range
Vlieland. In this period are expected to be 50 Mk82 bombs of the type
( 500 pounders ) off. You may be from 18 to 22 November also
by the Belgian Air Force on the Vliehors practiced in shedding the same
bombs . It is about 20 pieces . The flights take place in the morning and
afternoon .
The Vliehors Range is located on the westernmost part of Vlieland and covers an area
of about 17 square kilometers . On the grounds are prepared for different purposes
Aircraft: bomdoelen , shoot targets and missile targets. During the exercises Vliehors Range on
Vlieland closed to the public . The boundary of the training area is marked with
warning and exercise with red flags .
This training flights the Office Noise of the Royal Air Force focuses on Texel
measurement stations in which the identified weather conditions and the resulting
determine the noise can carry out the planned exercises. this
mobile measuring stations are in direct contact with the control tower of the Vliehors Range .
