Today, Sunday may 26th, I visited Lelystad. In have questions concerning two aircraft. I noticed a yellow aircraft with registration N55001. Which aircraft is this?
Second question. There was what seemed to be a Fokker 50 parked near the end of the taxiway (somewhere near AIS Airlines). Can anyone help me with the serial?
Cheers,
Gerrit

Re: Some questions concerning two aircraft on Lelystad
N55001 is a Maule MX-7-180AC and one of the Fokkers is U-06 or U-05, depending on which one was standing on the platform today.Withnail wrote:Today, Sunday may 26th, I visited Lelystad. The other Fokker at the end of the field is U-06 indeed. The frame at the end of the field is for firefighter training. I don't know if it is a real frame with c/s.

The fuselage used for firefighting training is a real, but unfinished, F50 airframe from the time when Fokker went bankrupt. If I'm not mistaken, it's from MSN 20325.
