The 2005 airshow at Niederrhein / Weeze / Dusseldof North or how it was being called at the time was quite good aircraft positioning wise. Indeed, there were jets parked in front of shelters, in front of tree lines with no barriers in front of them.
I would love to see that arrangement again!
Good on you Peter, for arranging the Eufis and Tornado!
Hans.

I would prefer barriers in front of the acft so that not everbody is hanging around the few mil aircraft. menas you will be able to make a clear shot of the aircraft without any disturbing "18mm photographers"
But please position the aircraft with enough space to the barrier and off course to another aircraft!!

Good job, Peter! Do you have enough good spots to park all those military aircraft?

Any idea if it will be the special painted Tornado from ex JBG32, now AG51!!awacy003 wrote:Hallo,
sad news out of UK. The Typhoons will not come.
I tried hard but no chance for any alternative aircraft from the RAF.
The Tornado and Mirage will arrive on Friday after 1200 lcl. Beside these jets we expect, if weather is VMC, the Catalina, Ov-10, 2 Stearman, Extra300, Yak3U on Friday until 1800 lcl.
The rest will come Saturday fm 0800 until 1200 lcl, if weather is VMC.

Re: Weeze airshow 25-05-2013
That is not good news about the Eurofighter that don't will come.
So there will not many military aircrafts this year at the Weeze Airshow.
The weather forecast are not very good for Saturday.
So we can expect some rain.

Visited the Weeze airshow yesterday. To start, compliments to the organisation !
Maybe some tips for a future edition:
- the website was far from complete, no timetable etc.
- there was no PR in The Netherlands (didn't see any posters, signs, advertising etc.)
- maybe contact the small airfields in the area (Goch, Grefrath). They allways have some nice visitors at their open days and the have some nice based aircraft
- the prices at the fair were pretty high combined with the entrance and parking fee
Other things were organised well, like the photo possibilities at the flightline, the food, the parking and traffic circulation (no trafficjams at all) etc.
