Russian Knights" and "Swifts scedule 2013
Hi,
I've found this today:
Famous aerobatic team "Russian Knights" and "Swifts" and in the new year will be performing around the world!
In 2013, more than 20 performances scheduled aerobatic team "Russian Knights" and "Swifts" at various air festivals, exhibitions and shows. 7 of them are supposed to be held outside of Russia.
Russian aces demonstrate their flying skills at exhibitions "Lima-2013" in Malaysia, "Paris Airshow" in French in Le Bourget, "Airshow China" in Beijing and the "Dubai Airshow" in the United Arab Emirates. In February, they will perform at the international air show "Aero India - 2013" in Bangalore.
Editorial: clarify the factual information about the mentioned in this press release airshow.
Aero India
06 February 2013
Yelahanka Air Base
Bengaluru, India
LIMA'13 - Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition
26 - 30 March 2013 in Langkawi.
Paris Air Show 2013
17 June 2013
Le Bourget exhibition centre, Paris
Airshow China
13 November 2013
China International Aviation Exhibition Center
Zhuhai, China (Mainland) (not Beijing and Zhuhai)
Dubai Air Show 2013
17 November 2013

The pilots of aerobatic teams continue to improve their skills, each time adding new elements to the summer program. Many of the group of aerobatic maneuvers performed "Russian Knights" and "Swifts" in the Su-27 and MiG-29, so far no one in the world can not be repeated. Thus, the world-famous air construction of "big diamond" ("big diamond"), performed in mixed order, entered in the famous Guinness Book of Records.

For Le Bourget there is a Su-35 scheduled to perform as well, looks like a proper Russian invasion then!

What i know is that the Russian will come with the:
Sukhoi SU-35, Russian Knights (SU-27), Russian Swifts (MIG-29), KA-52 Alligator, Yak-130,
The site for the Paris Airshow (http://www.paris-air-show.com/) will be updated at the end of May.
Untill now we know only the aircrafts that the Russian will send to Paris.

Wahaha! No Kecskemet! I bet the Su-27 announced for CIAF and Kecskemet is also a round lie. Last week before the show everything will be "UNFORTUNATELY" cancelled by participating country.

That list has been around a while already (I think even late 2012?) and isn't correct anymore. The Swifts are going to Salon de Provence, and given the regulations there it's unlikely the Knights would be allowed/able to perform at Le Bourget.
And of course, the SU-27 for Kecskemet, CIAF and Radom is from Ukraine, an airforce that has not been exactly isolating itself in recent years. Not like the Russian air force at least

I've also get an answer of the people from the Russian Swifts:
Hi Roelof-Jan, it is really possible that we come to the Paris Airshow 2013. And this will be confirmed close to the due date.

Re: Russian Knights" and "Swifts scedule 2013
They can go as much as they like, fact is that not even Patrouille de France is allowed to perform the full display at Le Bourget, they only fly the first half (ribbon). How do the RK think they can fit their display into the restricted Le Bourget airspace with their heavy Sukhois?
Re: Russian Knights" and "Swifts scedule 2013
Not in Beijing, nor in Zhuhai? Also, the date differs from the one mentioned in the Scramble airshow schedule... Anyone has more on this?gortje wrote:Airshow China

From Airshowinfo.hu today:
Dear Readers!
Today we received an answer from Russian Knights, that they confirmed to Kecskemét Airshow, with expected 4 Su-27 Flanker. The number of Sukhois not definitive yet.
