ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

A regular Sunday at Hatzerim IDF base (so: MIL)

Post by Key »

Last Sunday's sunset marked the beginning of Israel's 65th Independence Day, on Monday the 15th. But as Shabbat was over, it was back to work on Sunday morning the 14th for the IDF.
From 10 am till 2 pm some 50 fighters were observed from outside the fence, plus a handful of other machines. Enjoy. 8)

:respect: Wow! And no problems with security or whatsoever?

Btw, there is a very weird centerline pod underneath F-16 '896'... :new-alien:

No hassle at all. We did stay out of direct sight of the base = not pointing our cameras at the base itself. At the same time, we stood in plain sight on a hillside = not trying to hide. Those are factors that display simple intentions as an aviation enthusiast.

That recce pod was quite an eye-catcher indeed. 8)

Thanks for the cheers, all!

The recce pod could be a BF Goodrich DB-110 EO/IR.
