As has been posted in the summer 2013 topic, UA will switch to 777s on IAH-AMS with the start of the summer schedules.

As of now the 777s will continue to serve the route during winter 2013-2014.

From October, Garuda will fly Amsterdam - Denpasar (Bali) non-stop with 777-300ER. Not yet known if frequency will remain teh same and/or that AMS-DPS will be combined with AMS-AUH-DPS.

KLM is again planning to operate AMS-DXB twice daily on 4 days/week with B777 in Winter 2013/2014. In 2012/2013 the 2nd flight was only operating with MD11 around the Xmas period.

- ATL = 21x/week DL/KL an increase by DL of 2x/week

- PDX = daily DL A332 an increase of 2x/week (but DL presented this last winter as well and later reduced the frequency).

It is not yet clear when exactly Xiamen Airlines intends to open routes to AMS using their brand new B787. Delivery of the new B787 will commence in July 2013 and Xiamen Airlines (daughter of China Southern) is planning routes from Xiamen en Fuzhou to AMS, CDG, JFK, SYD, YVR.
